Web Tech & WebOps

Web Engineering & WebOps Agency

Websites that load fast, run securely and stay maintained. We build with WordPress, headless stacks and plain code, push Core Web Vitals into the green and then take over operations. From Berlin, for projects of every size.

01 — Personal

A website is not a project. It is an operation.

Most websites get built once, signed off and then left to themselves. Two years later the plugins are outdated, load time has doubled and nobody dares to touch anything. We know that state well, because we regularly take over projects like that and get them back into shape.

That is why we think about engineering and operations together from day one. What we build, we build to stay maintainable: clear structure, few dependencies, documented decisions. And what we operate, we monitor actively instead of waiting for the call that something is broken.

What we don't do: stack page builder themes with forty plugins on top of each other. Every dependency we don't add is one that can never break later.

WordPress & headless setups

WordPress still powers a huge part of the web, and for good reason: editorial teams know it, the ecosystem is enormous, and with a clean custom theme instead of page builder sprawl it is genuinely fast. We develop lean themes, clean up existing installations and handle updates without breaking anything in the process.

Where WordPress is not the right answer, we build headless or static: a CMS for the editors, a modern frontend stack in front of it that ships HTML which practically cannot get slow. Which variant fits depends on team, content and budget. We advise honestly, even when the answer sounds more boring than the latest framework trend.

Landing pages that keep up with the campaigns

The best campaign loses if the page behind it takes four seconds to load or falls apart on a phone. We build landing pages as standalone, fast pages: one clear offer, one action, no distractions. Variants for A/B tests are planned in from the start, and so is clean conversion tracking.

Because we also run the campaigns in performance marketing, we know which message the page has to deliver so that click price and conversion rate add up. That short line between media and engineering saves weeks in practice.

Core Web Vitals & page speed

Google rates pages on real user data: load time (LCP under 2.5 seconds), responsiveness to input (INP under 200 milliseconds) and visual stability (CLS under 0.1). These numbers are a ranking factor and, more importantly, a direct lever on conversion rate. We get pages into the green and keep them there.

The craft behind it: images in modern formats with fixed dimensions, fonts as compressed webfonts with preload, JavaScript only where needed and never blocking, caching and delivery through a CDN. It sounds unspectacular, but it is exactly the work that turns a 60 score in PageSpeed Insights into one close to 100.

Speed is not a feature. It is the foundation everything else stands on.

Security & backups

Hacked websites are rarely the work of brilliant attackers. Usually it is outdated plugins, weak passwords or forgotten test installations. We harden installations, set up two-factor authentication, keep software current and use proper HTTP security headers so browsers treat your site as strictly as is standard in 2026.

And because something can always happen anyway: automated backups with regularly tested restores. A backup that has never been restored is just a hope.

WebOps: monitoring and ongoing care

WebOps is our word for everything that comes after launch: uptime monitoring that wakes us before customers notice anything. Error tracking that reports broken forms instead of letting them quietly lose leads for months. Regular maintenance windows for updates. And a fixed contact person who knows your setup, instead of a ticket in an anonymous queue.

Many of our clients came to us with a single problem and stayed because of this kind of care. That is exactly how it should be.

Hosting & CDN

The best hosting is the kind you never hear about. We pick the environment to match the project: managed hosting for WordPress, static hosting with a CDN for landing pages, dedicated servers where special requirements exist. Cloudflare or a comparable CDN is almost always part of our setups, for speed worldwide and as a protective layer against attacks.

When moving existing sites, we handle the complete migration including DNS, redirects and verification that rankings and tracking survive the move unharmed.

08 — Interplay

Engineering is the stage for everything else

Solid web engineering is the precondition for tracking to measure correctly, for campaigns from performance marketing to land on fast pages, and for email flows to meet forms that actually work. When something special is needed, a configurator, a portal, an integration, our custom development takes over.

Typical starting point: a technical audit of your existing site with a prioritized action list. Then you decide whether we repair, rebuild or just clear the most urgent items first. Send us your URL and we'll take a look.
