Structured data makes your content unambiguously readable for Google and AI systems. Pick a type, fill in the fields, copy the finished JSON-LD block and place it before the closing head tag of your page. That is all there is to it.
For a long time, JSON-LD was purely an SEO topic for rich results: stars, prices and FAQ snippets in Google Search. By now there is a second consumer: AI search systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews use structured data to attribute facts reliably. If your markup is clean, you get quoted more accurately.
The most common mistakes we see are not in the content but in the craft: broken JSON because of a missing comma, markup that does not match the visible page content, or five contradictory blocks from different plugins. The builder always produces valid JSON; you check the rest in the Rich Results Test.
For more complex cases like product variants, reviews, events or nested organization structures, we build schema setups individually. How we approach that is on our SEO page. Happy to answer questions in a free intro call via contact.
